Expertise

Mr. Arneson joined Hydro Geo Chem in May 2006. His duties have included conducting comprehensive pressure surveys to estimate land fill gas generation, soil vapor extraction pumping tests, groundwater sampling for total petroleum hydrocarbons and dissolved volatile organic compounds, soil gas sampling, and stream flow gauging.

Representative Experience

• Water Conservation Specialist: Responsibilities include scheduling and performing residential water use audits; providing education materials and services related to responsible water usage for customers and businesses; auditing irrigation systems in residences and Town facilities; researching technologies and providing information on different methods of water conservation; data entry and retrieval of information. Provide education materials

• Automotive Technician: All facets of foreign and domestic, light duty and heavy duty automotive and truck repair including air conditioning, brake service, alignment, electrical diagnosis and service, computer control systems, fuel injection, manual and automatic transmission diagnosis and service.

• Service Manager/Lead Automotive Technician: All facets of foreign and domestic, light duty and heavy duty automotive and truck repair including smog inspection and repair, air conditioning, brake service, alignment, electrical diagnosis and service, computer control systems, fuel injection, manual and automatic transmission diagnosis and service, customer service including writing repair orders and estimates, ordering parts, overseeing daily functions of the shop including parts inventory and employee performance.

VOLUNTEER WORK:

Parks and Recreation Board Member, Town of Oro Valley, Arizona: The seven-member Parks & Recreation Advisory Board acts in an advisory capacity to the Town Council in matters pertaining to parks and recreation, parks design, open space and trail use (prior to the review comments being submitted to other Boards, Commissions or the Council). Each board member serves a two year term.

TRAINING:

Citizens Planning Institute, Town of Oro Valley, Arizona: Institute provides citizens an overview of general planning and zoning practices, zoning rules and enforcement, general plans, legal constraints and opportunities, and the roles of citizens in the planning process. The series includes twenty-two hours of instruction.

Master Watershed Steward, University of Arizona Cooperative Extension, Arizona: Highly trained volunteers working closely with the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality to improve the health of their watersheds. Master Watershed Stewards participate in over 50 hours of course work and 40 hours of volunteer service.
