ANNOUNCEMENTSNewly Hired:Hydro Geo Chem, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen B. Smith as President and Chief Operating Officer. Steve received his masters in civil/sanitary engineering and is a registered professional engineer in Arizona, California, and Colorado. Steve is a nationally recognized expert in solid waste and hazardous waste fields. He has 27 years of experience developing, planning, designing, and managing construction of solid waste and hazardous waste facilities throughout the Southwest. Steve also has significant experience in soils and groundwater containment issues, expertise that will complement HGC’s environmental remediation service offerings. Prior to joining HGC, Steve was a Vice President at SCS Engineers, where he was responsible for business development and project management and also developed a highly successful series of landfill operations training courses.
