Newly Hired:

Hydro Geo Chem, Inc. is pleased to announce that Daniel V. Sola, R.G. has joined our firm as a Senior Hydrogeologist. Dan has 30 years of consulting experience in hydrogeological evaluation, remediation, contaminant fate and transport, natural attenuation, expert witness work, and environmental review. He has extensive experience with VOCs, creosote/PCP, PCBs, and metals, including Cr(VI). He worked with the University of Minnesota on innovative technology research projects including phytoremediation and direct hydrogen injection for chlorinated VOC treatment. Recently he designed well networks and monitoring programs for coal combustion residual disposal facilities under the new 2015 CCR rule.

 

Dan has spent most of his career in Minnesota and moved to Phoenix in 2014.  He worked on several VOC and water supply projects in Arizona in the early 1990s with Conestoga Rovers and Associates. Most recently he was a Principal Hydrogeologist with AECOM/URS in Minneapolis and Phoenix. He received a B.S. in Geology from Michigan Technological University in 1982.
